The plant pushers with be teaming with Hartingtons of Bakewell for a unique and educational cookery course on Saturday 1st June 2019. Co-founder, Gian Bohan, will be hosting the event, teaching guests how to whip up their own plant-based menu. The day will include tutorials on how to make:

  • Tropical buckwheat, broccoli, beetroot and nigella with turmeric slaw
  • Coconut three bean salad
  • Sprouted mung bean topper
  • Cashew cream dressing
  • Strawberry Fields dessert (strawberry and tofu “cheesecake” with mixed seed and oat base)
  • Overnight Oat Pots (made with gluten free organic oats and organic soy milk)

Aside from the main tutorials, Gian will also be demoing other plant-powered dishes, including a superfood smoothie, walnut and butter bean hummus, and a Middle Eastern cauliflower and lentil salad. Guests will have the chance to try all of the above as well as having some handy recipes to take home with them at the end of the day.
