Twice as effective as the ‘diabetes diet’

It doesn’t stop there. Another study published in theJournal of the American College of Nutritionsuggests that a plant-based diet for weight loss could be twice as effective as the traditional ‘diabetes diet’ often prescribed by doctors.

The research saw one group follow the calorie-restrictive diabetes diet while the other followed a plant-based diet. The participants in the latter group lost around twice as much weight as the other participants. The result suggests that using a plant-based diet for weight loss could be immensely effective.
